I see people offering the services of resume writing as a professional service. I and most people I know around me won't patronize such a service. Do people really patronize resume writing services? Is it even a viable service to offer?

Yes! People offer such services at freelancing sites. But it is not always available like other online tasks like writing contents, transcription, data annotation, programming etc. If you want to make money with writing resume alone, you may stay ages without getting any offer! You better diversify your way of making money.
I know that services like that are registered on freelancing sites but never patronise for now

Though there are now apps and platforms you can use to write your own resume but there are people who still patronize the business
Resume is something that is in a very high demand. Most people need higher quality resume writing services for sure.
With AI and other sites that offer resume building for free, hiring people to do your resume for you seems like a loss on my side. Technology has made it easier for us which had hurt the resume business.

While some people offer resume writing services, I have never used one before. Maybe those who are new to online or offline jobs might find this service helpful.
For me l can say that the resume writing is very marketable as most people don't know how to write professional resumes for sure
I know that I might not really have need for this service. I am conversant with writing very good resumes.
I have not patronized that service. I would rather pay for premium subscription on a app that does that well.

There are some kinds of top international jobs you want to apply for and you would need a top class international level resume. You have to patronize pro resume writers.

When I was active on freelancing markets, I used to frequently come across these jobs but never tried myself.
I don't think that people really patronize this service. At least, I don't know anyone that has patronized such service.
I don't think there will be any problem with this if you know you can't get the writing done yourself. Just pay and gets it rightly done
I have never patronized resume writing service, but I know people who do. With the availability of AI nowadays, may be this service will be replaced by using AI sooner or later.
Resume writing would certainly not sell in today's world. Anyone that is stuck on offering this service alone should look for another job.
