According to the report, the Shiveluch volcano erupted in eastern Russia’s Kamchatka peninsula on August 18 after a 7.0 magnitude earthquake hit the region. The volcanic eruption reportedly spurted a column of ashes and smoke 5 kilometers into the air and triggered a brief “code red” warning for the aircraft.

According to the reports, no major damage was caused by the quake. Scientists have warned against a potential more severe earthquake in the region.

Further, Russia suffers destruction of its important bridges believed to be the gate pass for weapon supplies and now, they are facing volcanic eruption and a high intensify earthquake.
