Russia and Ukraine exchange 150 prisoners of war each

According to the Ukrainian president, Ukraine did a prisoner exchange with Russia on Wednesday, returning 150 of its combatants. This was shared on the Ukrainian President’s Telegram page. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy shared video footage of happy detainees, many of whom were dressed in Ukrainian flags, disembarking from buses and reconnecting with their families.

The exchange's exact location was not indicated for security concerns. The Ukrainian president thanked his allies, particularly the United Arab Emirates, and everyone else who worked hard to ensure the Ukrainians' safe return. The UAE was essential in brokering the arrangement and has previously participated in similar prisoner exchanges.

It would be nice if these warring countries would decide to stop the war and renew themselves. A thousand lives were lost in the war and their economic conditions are getting worse by the day. Blood scattered everywhere.
