According to the news, Russia launched an overnight drone attack across Ukraine, striking its energy facility in the country’s northeast Sumy region, officials said.
The Ukrainian air force said that its defence units shot down 24 of the 27 Russian drones fired in 12 regions.
The news added that the National grid operator Ukrenergo said the energy facility in the Sumy region was damaged, forcing emergency electricity shut-offs.
