According to the report, Russia warned that sending Tomahawks to Ukraine would have "severe" consequences and urged the US to reconsider. Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said US-Russia ties are "cracking at their foundation" and blamed the US. Russian military experts also downplayed Tomahawks’ effectiveness, noting their forces “have experience destroying similar missiles.”

Why does Russia need to upgrade its air defense systems for outdated missiles, as they call them? So if Russia knows how to shoot the Tomahawks down, what are they so worried about? Russia can’t even shoot down the Cheap FP-1 drones that fly at 186mph, never mind the 600mph Tomahawk. The Russians are terrified of the Tomahawk; they know it’s the end of the war for them. Putin is crazy.

This story of Russia threatening to launch Tomahawks shows how serious international tensions are. While they claim the consequences will be severe, it is clear that they want to show power and prevent the US from sending more support to Ukraine. But their experts also say that they have experience in destroying such missiles and that is military confidence.

On the ground reality, this is a game of politics and military strategy where each side is trying to flex its muscles. Boundaries of treaties like the disengagement agreement show that diplomacy is still important. This teaches us that regional stability requires a balance between power and real dialogue.

The Tomahawk ballistic missiles aren't approved yet by the Pentagon. If this will be approved, Putin will shake in fear. This ruthless war earns the warring countries disasters and devastations of lives and properties.
