The execution was that of a Yemeni national convicted of smuggling drugs into the Gulf kingdom, the official Saudi Press Agency reported. That brought to 101 the number of foreigners executĕd so far in 2024.

My brother is in Saudi Arabia. He works as an accountant there and he witnessed how the executions were done through beheading the criminals. He was so terrified when the head of the criminal was still alive rolling on the ground. He said it was so horrible execution of a convicted criminal.

It is very inhuman and barbaric. Human should not be subjected to such horrible punishment. The government should find alternative which may be beneficial to the society as a whole. Life imprisonment with hard labour should be better.
