Selling physical books: Is it a complete failure now?

I remember when people used to have mega bookshops and they were doing good business selling books. It seems though like that time has passed. Books are more digitized now. Do you think that selling of physical paper books would still fly in today's digitized society?

It is only physical books for basic school that are being bought by people now. Most other books are being sold digitally now.

Selling of physical books is no longer as lucrative as it used to be because of the invention of ebook. However, it is not a complete failure because I just visited a bookshop and the woman's shop was filled with customers, I had to wait a while outside.
