I recently read that 77.9% of SEO professionals are concerned about the loss of clicks due to AI-generated answers. That statistic made me think: it's no longer enough to worry about Google rankings or page views; the real challenge will be measuring the real impact on leads, customers, and conversions.
For example, many sites that previously relied on informational organic traffic are now seeing that those clicks might not arrive if AI answers queries directly to the user without the user needing to click. So, what's really changing is not just what we answer these searches, but how we respond to them.
In recent months, I've started making some changes to my own strategies: first, prioritize content that demonstrates real expertise, authority, and trustworthiness (EEAT). Document success stories, provide original data, and provide testimonials. Second, better structure articles by considering snippets that AIs can quote—short paragraphs, clear answers, and focused language. Third, coordinate more with content, design, and development teams to ensure that blogs not only look pretty, but also load quickly, work well on mobile, and have structured markup that helps AI understand them.

Oh bro. That 77.9% stat is a real alarm. AI is mercilessly squeezing clicks and SEO people are feeling the pressure. These days, it's not just about ranking on Google, it's about generating real leads and conversions. If you just keep writing without a strategy, you'll end up with zero views.

But there's still a way to survive. Content must have real EEAT and the structure must be AI-friendly. Site speed and mobile vibe are also important. If you keep your mind sharp and collaborate with your team well, you'll make progress. The game has changed but you can still shine.
