Advertising costs money and that is why it should be highly targeted. That raises the question, "Is advertising to people that are not part of your target market a complete waste of money"?

Is there any benefits of advertising to audiences that would likely never buy from you!

Targeted and effective advertising is critical to maximizing your return on investment, as spending money on people who aren't part of your target market can generally be considered a waste of resources. Advertising to audiences who are unlikely to buy from you is often inefficient and can reduce the profitability of your campaign.

However, there are some potential benefits to targeting audiences who are unlikely to buy, although these are limited:

Increasing brand awareness: Even if these people don't buy now, they may remember your brand in the future or recommend it to someone else.

Expanding market reach and presence: This can open up future opportunities if circumstances change or if you expand your products or services.

Generating interest or curiosity: Sometimes, repeated exposure can spark interest or create a positive perception of your brand, even if they don't buy immediately.

In short, while advertising to non-target audiences can be ineffective in general, in certain specific cases it can have secondary benefits. However, in most situations, it's most effective to focus on your target market to achieve the best results and optimize your investment.

It seems insignificant to advertise the products to people who may not buy your products; however, these people might spread the info to others who might be looking for the products you are advertising.
That's it. You don't dwell so much on advertising to them as if you are trying to get them to buy. Just advertise to let them know that your business exists. You never can tell who they know that might need rid products or services.
