Should a man pay his wife/ partner allowance simply for being a wife/partner?

Every lady in my country now are demanding monthly and allowance from the men in their lives. They say that just because they have decided to be involved in a romantic relationship or marriage with a man, they are entitled to monthly allowance.

Should I give my woman monthly allowance?

I think the decision to give your partner a monthly allowance depends a lot on the relationship you have and how you both view that dynamic. In my opinion, in a healthy relationship, the most important thing is communication and mutual agreement. I don't believe there's a universal obligation to give money regularly just because you're in a relationship or married. Every couple has their own circumstances and agreements, and that should be based on respect and trust. If you feel comfortable and want to support your partner with an allowance, that can be a sign of affection and commitment. But if you don't feel in a position to do so, that's fine too, as long as there's open and honest communication. As of me l really don't consider paying for them yet men in my culture pay for the dowry for sure.

I won't get an allowance from my man. We would only mutually support each other financially when needs arises.

Yes, she is humans with needs aside money to run the home. Just make sure you give us what you can readily afford

It depends on the partner i guess. I feel the man should be able to provide for her upkeep and all, then again both partners need to work together to support one another, not just one supporting.

I always give my woman allowance to support her. I don't give allowance that would solve all her needs.

That is the decision of the couple. But nowadays, a lot of women go out to work as well. If she stays home as a housewife, the husband has the responsibility to take care of the household's financial situation.
