Should an apprentice be allowed to use company equipment to fulfil his or her own personal order?

Sometimes, apprentices master the skill such that they can take orders while still under apprenticeship. Is it right for an apprentice to use the equipment of the company to fulfil an order he or she gets. Remember, they don't remit such orders to the company.

If they have their personal clients, and they simply add their own profit to the company price, then I don't think there is anything wrong, as long as the company gets it's part. But if notting goes to the company, then they should not use the company equipment.

I believe Apprentices should generally be allowed to use company equipment, but under appropriate supervision and with proper training. The extent of their access and usage should be determined by the employer,

Most apprentices don't have any source of income. I personally would allow them use the company equipment to deliver a job and earn money.

I am not an apprentice but a staff. I use company equipment for my own personal orders. And the business owner doesn't have problems with it.
