Should history be revised to correct past injustices and inaccuracies?

That's a good suggestion to correct the past history which you believed inaccurate. If it's inaccurate those books must be banned for a revision. If the author is still alive he or she must explain why write and publish non factual happenings in the past.

It would be nice to do this but then again how can one be sure the corrections that would be made are actually what happened back then in the past?

In the event that it becomes apparent that the history previously taught was inaccurate, containing misinformation and incorrect facts, rewriting history may become a viable alternative.

How about you? What's your opinion on this?
Most of the times the history was written by one groups only and they wright only what they want and some times their are histories that shows pure hate and pure evil things about the other group so rewriting it would be some game changing.

If the concerned office of the government sighted errors in book contents, it is better to hire a historian and correct the mistakes, however, how sure they are that the past history written in the revised book is the correct one?

The government should be able to correct or revise historical errors. But historians must carry out various research and have strong evidence, to propose to the government to rewrite or revise history immediately.
When history is rewritten it need to have all parts who involved on the situations, most of the times the history writer only write what they want and what they like not the real things.

Yes, I accept this, because if not corrected, such history will be passed on to generations, so why not just make the wrongs Right when we can instead of passing on the wrong info just as received knowing fully well of the deficiencies In it.

I think this should not be done because, although there were many inaccuracies, history was written by people who understood it, and as for me, if history is rewritten now, every country will want to change many things in the other direction, and this is a potential conflict
