Should I delete low traffic posts from my blog? How would it affect SEO?

There are some blog posts that disappoints and doesn't bring traffic to a blog. Should a blog owner consider deleting those blog posts with low traffic? Would it have any effect on overall SEO of the blog if such low traffic posts are deleted.

If you have some valuable keywords and backlinks on that post, it would really hurt SEO if you delete those low traffic posts.

I don't know much about SEO and the likes but i feel there is no need deleting them as they might generate traffic later on.

There is no need to delete old posts just because it is not pulling the traffic, however, the post is low quality and irrelevant you can delete it.
