Should one stay on the exchange app for the duration of a P2P trade they initiate?

I have seen that some of my friends don't leave the crypto exchange app when they initiate a P2P trade. They always stay on the app till the trade is completed. Is it an unwritten rule not to close the exchange app when you initiate a P2P trade?

I think that it is just normal that you stay on the crypto exchange throughout your P2P trading session in case anything goes wrong, you can complain quickly.

You don't have to keep on watching your exchange app's interface when you are doing p2p trading. However. you should be logged in to close the deal

There is push notifications from my crypto exchange as the P2P trade progresses. I don't stay on the exchange. As long as I am logged in, I am fine.

As long as Push Notifications are enabled for the exchange app, you don't have to stay on the on the app throughout the week exchange transaction.
