Should you sell shares whose price has increased the most?

When you want to liquidate shares to meet your emergency needs, the first thing you sell is shares that are losing money or have no potential, because these shares will damage your portfolio. Secondly, you can also sell shares whose price has exceeded the intrinsic value.

I don't sell the shares now,if I don't require money. I have learned that it's of no use to sell them for small profits. They yield more profits of you hold them for longer periods.
That as always been a good idea . it is good to keep holding them until the profit Is reasonable to make good of it.
