He used a hash power of 11 PH/s to find block 814,308 and get a reward of 6.25 BTC or the equivalent of $200k.

This is like hitting the jackpot. I've always thought that most Bitcoin miners operate at a loss considering the costs of equipment and energy they use.

Mining a single block yourself means all the money goes to you, and that would be a lot in the bull run.
