The SIR of the Election Commission of India is a step to revise the list of voter. This is done every time before the election by the states. The voters are given a chance to update their details but this time this is taken up by the government of India. If the officials do it sincerely it's a good step for a fair election. The infiltrators will be segregated and the deceased voters name deleted. The present citizens can update their details. Now if the officials aren't sincere there will be a total mess.
