According to data from the Mempool.space platform, the 937,218th block was successfully discovered by a miner operating a self-hosted Umbrel node. He mined Bitcoin alone without joining a mining pool and successfully discovered a Bitcoin block, earning him a mining reward of 3,125 BTC, plus network transaction fees, for a value of approximately US$212,000.
Miners generally prefer to join solo miners rather than mining alone, which is not guaranteed to find a block. Although this isn't the first time a solo miner has successfully mined Bitcoin, it's still a rare occurrence.
