So which is which , a smart phone or laptop?

Today l was browsing to check the prices for my dream smartphone. l was surprised to see that the phone is very expensive compared to some better laptops on the market. l am therefore on a two way traffic whether to go for the phone or the laptop?

Unless the high end smartphone features like cameras are used extensively, if I have enough money, I would always purchase a laptop. I prefer to purchase multiple cheap smartphones.
