If you have a huge following, businesses and individuals will contact you to promote their products or services. You can earn through sponsored posts, shout outs, etc. If you have your own products, you can also use your social platforms to sell your own products, like hand crafted items, or merch, digital goods, or services. Which one do you prefer?
 
I would personally go with selling my own products or services through the use of social media. Since i don't have other products to market and my social media account still has a long way to go before i can monetize it.

Nowadays, a business without social media is like a car without fuel that will not move. Don't pretend you don't know online things, you will be left behind like a goat's tail.

If you want your business to take off like a jet plane, you must know who is using which networks and why. Young people love TikTok, your elders love Facebook and mothers love Pinterest. If you know that, you will reach them easily. Work hard, learn, don't be shy, ask, search for tutorials on YouTube. Business is about dedication, not sleeping and dreaming.

So, sir, be honest with your products. Don't be someone who sells something you don't believe in. Your truth is what will set you apart. People know you're playing tricks on them. It's better to sell small things but with all your heart. One day you'll reach the top.
