In today's digital age, social media is a double-edged sword. How do you balance its use with your personal life to maintain mental well-being? Share your strategies, whether it's setting screen-time limits, curating your feed, or taking digital detoxes. Let's discuss how to harness the positives of social media while protecting our mental health!

Spending too much time on social media platforms can negatively impact our mental well-being. To combat this, it is indispensable to take breaks from social media when necessary.

I find deactivating my social media accounts helpful when I sense that they are causing more harm than good. This is especially true when I encounter individuals who frequently propagate toxicity or negativity.

Furthermore, I impose strict time limits on my social media usage. When I use platforms like TikTok, I restrict my time to only 20-30 minutes daily. I have found this strategy particularly useful, especially in managing unexpected expenses that arise more frequently nowadays. I will do more productive things, instead.

Moreover, I am selective about the content I engage with. I have no qualms about unfollowing or unfriending individuals who consistently spread negativity or misinformation. This helps me curate a more positive and honest online environment for myself.
