Soldiers foiled coup d'etat in DR Congo

Reports emanating from Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) has it that the army has repelled an attempted coup d’etat.

The troop said Congolese and foreign fighters were involved in the coup which was foiled on Sunday morning, May 19.

The DRC army spokeman, Sylvain Ekenge, revealed this in a televised address on the state-run RTNC TV.

Was their attempt at a coup de etat prospered? It also happened here in my country during the previous president's co-attempts, but they were jailed.
