South Korea fires warning shots at North Korean troops crossing border

South Korea has acknowledged that it fired warning shots at North Korean soldiers who momentarily crossed the two nations' heavily guarded border earlier this week. The shots were described as a "deliberate provocation" by North Korean state media, and Pyongyang has charged Seoul with facing the risk of "uncontrollable" tensions. As new South Korean President Lee Jae Myung left Seoul on Saturday to travel to Tokyo and Washington, the incident was made public.
