Super Falcons and Brighton & Hove Albion goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie, has won the 2025 Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year for the third consecutive year.

The announcement was made during the prestigious award ceremony taking place at the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P), Rabat, Morocco.

The 24-year-old edged out Morocco’s Khadija Er-Rmichi and South Africa’s Andile Dlamini to win the award and reaffirm her dominance as Africa’s top goalkeeper.

What incredible news for Chiamaka Nnadozie! It's truly impressive that she has won the Best Female Goalkeeper award for the third year running, demonstrating her talent and consistency in football. Her leadership at Super Falcons and Brighton & Hove Albion is admirable, and this recognition confirms that she is one of the best in her position across the African continent. It's inspiring to see how her dedication and hard work have taken her to the top time and time again. Furthermore, competing against other great goalkeepers like Khadija Er-Rmichi and Andile Dlamini and emerging victorious speaks volumes about her quality and discipline. I hope she continues to achieve success and serves as an example for many young female footballers in Africa and around the world. Without a doubt, her future in international football is very promising. Congratulations, Chiamaka!
