Switzerland is experiencing record heatwaves in the Alps, and the impact is undeniable. For me, the most relevant aspect is how fragile mountain ecosystems are under climate stress. Personally, I think it’s heartbreaking to see glaciers retreat faster than expected. What surprises me is the lack of urgency in political responses. For me, the most important step is stronger climate adaptation policies. In the end, I believe Switzerland must act decisively to protect its natural heritage.
