A stampede at a rally for a popular Indian actor and politician in the southern state of Tamil Nadu killed at least 36 people and injured 40 others, the state’s health minister said late Saturday.
The audience should have been controlled. This should not have happened if the crowd had been organized. Those who attended did not use their common sense. In a case like that, a stampede mostly happens; they should not have come and watched only via TV instead. Only Indians worship film stars and cricketers. It is so sad. Life is so cheap.
