Teaching Job: Is it possible for a school to pay a teacher per head taught than monthly salary?

I have just been wondering if it is possible for a teacher to negotiate with a school to pay him or her per head taught. That's means there is a fixed rate per student or pupil. And the net pay would be the fixed rate multiplied by the number of students the teacher handles. Is that possible?

I might be wrong though but i doubt this is possible, imagine having hundred students? The school might not want go with this method.

Schools pay subject teachers that are difficult to come by per student they teach. Subjects like Diction and Coding.

I don't think it can happen for normal school period unless it is lesson that parents do pay per head.

It happens for some schools here. I know of two top high schools that pay teachers per head per term. It is not for an average school.
