Major technology companies signed a pact Friday to voluntarily adopt “reasonable precautions” to prevent artificial intelligence tools from being used to disrupt democratic elections around the world.

The executives from Adobe, Amazon, Google, IBM, Meta, Microsoft, OpenAI, and TikTok gathered at the Munich Security Conference to announce a new framework for how they respond to AI-generated deepfakes that deliberately trick voters. Twelve other companies — including Elon Musk's X — are also signing on to the accord.

This trick may give impartiality to election results and reports if the AI will be [participating in an election. There is a possible nefarious to happen if the government allows AI to participate in the election.

False information may spread with the use of AI and this may cause distortions to the minds of the politicians and the electorates. The voters may be shaken od how and where they vote. This will mislead the people who will religiously vote for their candidates.
