Teenager allegedly stuffed a plunger into a man's mouth, doused him in bleach, and kidnapped a child

From the report of Knox County, Tenn., a teenager was arrested after he allegedly attacked a man with a plunger, shoved it down his throat, poured bleach on his wounds, and kidnapped his child.

According to a police report obtained by local outlet WVLT, police conducted a welfare check at a residence on June 22 at around 4 a.m.

The report said that entry was forced into the residence and the victim was found in the bathroom, naked, and with serious head injuries," the report said. Additionally, the victim's 3-year-old child and the Ford Expedition were missing from the home.

Police eventually tracked down the vehicle and found the 3-year-old child and 19-year-old Charles Coffman inside, per the report.

Coffman reportedly gave police a detailed explanation of the incident that occurred after he arrived at the victim's home. The victim and the accused got into a physical fight. he slammed the victim to the ground, struck him in the face multiple times with his fists, struck [the victim] with a toilet plunger, and stuffed this plunger into the victim's mouth. The criminal also admitted to dragging the victim into the bathroom, stripping him naked, and pouring bleach on the victim's wounds."

Coffman was charged with aggravated kidnapping, attempted second-degree murder, tampering with evidence, and theft.
