If the rich are respected that kind of respect is shallow. It's just a show off for sure those people doing that are losers.

Yeah, the respect is only for the money not for the person, if that person lose his or her money then peoples stops respecting them.

That's true, they're showing their shallow actions but the truth is they lost their value as humans.

Sure, money only commands respect and not earn it. Respect can be earned by making impacts in people's life and also serving as a role model of good character.

True, respect is earned through good did, if we respect others and if we are good for other peoples they also will be good to us and respect us.

Exactly, you would get respect if you give respect too. it is good to respect others and gets it in return
 
There are many things that money can't buy, feelings and emotions you can't buy with money, although there are people who know how to fake certain feelings to take advantage of you or your money.

Nowadays you can buy respect with money as rich people are respected more for their money and their class also increases. They are called the high class.

True, respect is something we earn, and peoples usually don't have problem with respecting a person who respects them.

You might be right, that might be the picture in your society. It might also be the picture of the people here respecting those who belong to the elite group, but it is wrong, we have to respect people regardless of their socio-economic status.

Respect begets respect but what others are doing is for show only to get attention from those elites who may show a fake gesture.
 
Respect, character, and morals are hard to change, others could be adjusted like patience and love. Family upbringing and education are factors why some people lack manners, respect, and love towards humanity.

That's true. The rich are shown respect by some in awe or to get some advantage.
