According to the report, Thailand’s Opal Suchata Chuangsri is the new Miss World 2025 queen! Chuangsri bagged the crown during the pageant’s coronation night held on Saturday, May 31, at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Telangana, India. For the 72nd edition of Miss World, the beauty queen emerged victorious over 100 candidates from around the world. She succeeds Miss World 2024 Krystyna Pyszková of Czech Republic.
The report also stated that the three other finalists, who each won the Continental Queen titles, settled for runner-up finishes: Miss World Africa’s Hasset Dereje Admassu of Ethiopia (second place), Miss World Europe’s Maja Klajda of Poland (third place), and Miss World Americas and Caribbean’s Aurélie Joachim of Martinique (fourth place).
The Philippines’ candidate finished as runner-up to Thailand in the Miss World Asia and Oceania Top 2. Chuangsri delivered a powerful answer during the final Miss World 2025 Q&A round, after being asked: “What has this journey taught you about truth and personal responsibility in shaping how stories are told?”
A student of International Relations with aspirations of becoming an ambassador, Chuangsri is also interested in psychology and anthropology. According to her Miss World biography, she is an active volunteer for organizations supporting breast cancer awareness, a cause close to her heart.
