It is not easy to accept a bitter truth, There are victims of this and we cannot blame them for being caught under a flaming fire because of trust that turns to rust. It is also not good to believe right away especially a promise for there are promises that are made to be broken. We must live a life with honesty and integrity to gain trust and respect. And if someday, you will know the bitter truth like betrayal, you have to accept it with the hope that someday there is a better life awaiting you. It will not be too late to know the bitter truth but the most painful one is believing a sweet lie.

 
Yes, it is better to accept the bitter truth that merit does not matter in the internet sector, and banking, domain fraudsters will continue to get monthly government salaries only for making fake claims using robbed data.
 
It is better to know the bitter truth than to wait for a better sweet promise that may never happen. The bitter truth won't give you a remorseful feeling because you already have the knowledge that it will not come like giving of Christmas bonuses.
 
A bitter truth is better than a sweet lie. There are many victims of a sweet lie believing the lip service of someone else and it's so crucial. It is better to know a bitter truth for we can adjust and understand.
 
It's also frustrating and depressing once received a bitter truth that you and your love are not meant for each other because of socio economic status but despite at least you'll realize unlike to a sweet lie there's no second chance if at the extreme lie.

When somebody breaks our trust it does hurt but going on believing foolishly that the dishonest person will mend his ways one day is betraying oneself.

That's correct there's no reason why be fooled. We must be smart and deserve to be happy.

You're so right a lie could imprisoned our souls but for a bitter truth, time comes better life awaits us after accepting what's hurting and fighting for it whatever it costs, could be triumphant.
