Some people commit crimes but when it comes to punishment they just can't accept it. One of my husband's colleagues was very corrupt and was charged with misapproriation of government funds and was jailed. He couldn't tolerate this punishment and died of heart attack the moment he was sent to jail. If you can't accept punishment don't commit crime.

Hello, what you're sharing is truly heartbreaking. The story of your husband and his colleague clearly illustrates that the consequences of our actions can be far harsher than we imagine. Justice exists for a reason, and even though it may sometimes seem unfair or severe, it's crucial to accept the responsibilities that come with our decisions. Committing a crime, especially one as serious as corruption, not only harms others but also ultimately impacts our own lives. This person's story reminds us that we shouldn't underestimate the emotional and physical impact that punishment can have. It's essential to act with honesty and respect for the law, because if we can't accept the consequences, it would be better not to commit crimes in the first place. Integrity and responsibility are values we must cultivate to prevent tragedies like this.

That officer, my husband's colleague thought he would never be caught.

Indeed, it is good advice for those who have criminal minds not to commit crimes if they cannot accept the punishment by the laws of the land.
People like this start corruption to get easy money and filthy rich.

Maybe he didn't expect that we would be caught and jailed. He might not be able to face people. Why do a crime when you know the consequences are always bad?
You are right. He thought he would lead a wonderful life after retirement but was jailed after retirement.

That's it, If you commit a crime, you should be willing and ready to accept whatever comes with it at the end of the day.
I agree but very few corrupt don't realize that truth.
