The Ekiti State Police Command has arrested Olajobi Taiwo, a 19-year-old man, for allegedly def!ling a 15-year-old girl.
Spokesperson of the command, Sunday Abutu, who disclosed this in a statement on Thursday, March 13, 2025 said the suspect committed the offence alongside his friend who is at large.
The PPRO said that Taiwo suspect was arrested by operatives from the Divisional Police Headquarters, Oke Ila, Ado Ekiti, on March 7, 2025, at about 11:40hour.
“Investigation revealed that the victim, for the fear of being beaten by her mother for wrongdoing, ran away from the house, only to be lured by the two suspects to their room where they both forcefully had carnal knowledge of her,”
