The Federal Government of Nigeria has declared Monday, September 16, 2024, a public holiday in observance of Eid-ul-Mawlid, the celebration of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad .
The announcement was made by the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, on behalf of the Federal Government in a statement released by Dr. Magdalene Ajani, Permanent Secretary of the ministry.

Minister Tunji-Ojo extended his congratulations to the Muslim Ummah, both within Nigeria and in the diaspora, as they mark this special occasion.

It is also a holiday here pf the same reason and it is so timing because there are floods in Manila and the city government declared No Classes.
Oh that's right we just have the day to ourselves today while our fellow Muslims brethren have their day
