The Federal Government of Nigeria has entered into an Exchange of Notes (E/N) agreement with the Government of the People’s Republic of China for a $1 million grant to support ongoing flood relief operations in Northern Nigeria.Plateau State tourism

The signing ceremony in Abuja was presided over by the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, who described the support as a timely and generous intervention to address urgent humanitarian needs in flood-affected communities.
“This gesture reflects the long-standing relationship between Nigeria and China, built on mutual respect, cooperation, and a shared vision for sustainable development,” the Minister said.
 
The Federal Government of Nigeria signed an Exchange of Notes agreement with China to receive a $1 million grant to support relief operations following the recent floods in northern Nigeria. The Minister of Budget and Economic Planning emphasized that this assistance reflects the cooperation and mutually respectful relationship between the two countries, and assured that the funds will be managed transparently to benefit the affected communities.

Doesn't matter; the Chinese will rob your country blind and take whatever they want on the front end.

And if you should not repay any debts? Well, Sri Lanka was in that situation my friend....
....and the Chinese took their largest port as collateral; would you want to see them take some of the ports in Lagos over this?
 
Who else is yet to know that a Exchange of Notes agreement entails? The knowledgeable can educate us the lesser mortals here.
Its' still a bad deal to get into bed economically speaking with Beijing...
