The film "Bengal Files" made by Vivek Agnihotri is not being allowed to release in Bengal. The Bengal government has registered an FIR against him and accused him of targeting the TMC party. The film is based on communal violence in Bengal in 1940.
According to me a film should be watched for its facts an entertainment instead of politicizing a film.

The government should have not make any statement against the movie. Such comments can only attract more followership and more streaming. Now, it is very difficult for government to regulate it. Movie lovers in Bengal will download it and watch it through their smartphones!

This would make people want to watch it more, and the funny thing is most of them would simply make use of VPN to achieve this.

The film could be sold to other countries for people to know the truth and beauty about the film. I think the government in Bengal felt guilty or there's something fishy that must not be exposed to the public.

That's true. The film shows the time of 1947 when TMC was ruling. I really don't understand for what they are protesting.

The government was saying the same thing for Udaipur files but ultimately the film was released.
It has been released in other states. It has been in US too. So they can't stop it for long.

It reflects the time of Bengal in 1947. The TMC shouldn't feel guilty as the political party didn't exist then.

That's true. The West Bengal government is just behaving foolishly.
