Although it's still the holiday season, having stepped away from my laptop and desktop for a few days to enjoy the end-of-year break,
As we enter the new year of 2026, various thoughts come to mind. Most traders focus their trading goals on numbers, percentages, and targets. For example, I want to double my profit level in 2026 and make 2026 my lucky year. I believe my goals and ambitions are not wrong, but in trading, often targeting profit figures often leads to regret.
However, in reality, the market will never respond to our desires, ambitions, and targets. The market has no responsibility or obligation to help us make money. Therefore, we must realize that the principle of a trader's success lies not in numbers and profit percentages, but in behaviors such as consistency, discipline, skill, and experience, such as:
Creating a trading plan, interacting with it and sticking to it, managing risk, and concentrating.
So, if we trade crypto poorly, money will escape us. Conversely, if we trade well and correctly, money will flow into our wallets.
So, trading isn't a platform for making money, or making profit as the primary goal. Profit (money) is simply the reward for our perseverance and discipline, so we must improve the process. Share your thoughts.
