You might think that the most sold items in the world are sacks of rice, cakes cases of coke, or cases of your favorite alcohol drinks. The answer is No. The most sold item online and offline in the world is clothing and fashion items that range from women's and men's outfits to children's clothing, shoes, accessories, bags, belts, and more . In fact, this is what we always serve once we are inside a mall people checking and fitting outfits, young and old. We also see in shoes corner people busy fitting their favorite shoes. Once I go to a mall, I immediately proceed to the clothes section. What about you?
 
In a shopping center I immediately go to the electronics, IT and telephony department.
@Starmix I'm sorry my dearest friend, can I ask you a question: You as a woman I think you love footwear. How many pairs do you own, mostly talking about the summer ones?

Food items or food in general and clothing would definitely be on the list. I think another thing that should be on the list is phones. Almost everyone have access to a phone these days that they make use of for different things.

I am so glad to have reached me about footwear. I only have 12 pairs of footwear. I mostly have high-heeled shoes for work and for footwear for my jogging, walking, shopping, and more. They belong to the most sold-out items in the world.

Food shopping. nowadays unfortunately it "empties" a good part of the wallet of lower-middle class families. On the other hand, food shopping is a vital thing for every person. But others may also be able to buy something else, always assuming they have the possibility or have managed to save something.

Based on the findings clothes and shoes are mostly what people buy perhaps those elite ones prefer to buy these. This time when prices are getting higher and the economy is sinking, people opt to buy food consuptions.
 
Well, when I go to the shopping center where I go first also to the computer section, I think this depends a lot on the person, but I agree that clothes and shoes are the best-selling items in the world since everyone needs them and many people also buy much more than they need.

That is absolutely correct. When we are in the shopping center, we see many shoppers fitting nice dresses and shoes, especially at Christmas when bonuses are released, and many become one-day millionaires. lol.

Yes, you only have to look at the number of clothing and footwear stores in a shopping center compared to other types of commerce, it is clear what people's priorities are in terms of their purchases.

People enter a mall either to eat in their favorite resto or decide where to go after dining, but I always observed that people flock to the clothes and shoes department. There are also many in the grocery center but sold there are very expensive, so others pt to buy outside the mall.
 
I used to buy a lot of clothes before the pandemic, but things have changed. It's difficult to not have money in your savings account. I would rather save money than spend it on clothes. Also, it is preferable to purchase some home items that I will use daily.

Indeed this is what most people have been doing lately, especially since the post-pandemic period until today, where people's economic situation has unfortunately drastically worsened!

First of all, I apologize if the question was intrusive. However, I would have imagined that, as a woman, you love footwear. But do you know how I understood this? Simply I learned this from how many pairs of shoes my mother owns.

It seems like old clothes are easier to get than food. I mean, food from churches or social services is a challenge but not clothes, but I could be wrong.

Well, you have to excuse me, but you have to know that the Church together with other associations (many of these based on volunteering who are here in Italy I know them) also offer suitable clothing for those who need, this in addition to food obviously.
 
@Starmix going to the mall means that you pay 3 or 4 times the money to purchase clothes. In the street, you could buy from people who sell them at a lower price than merchants you could find the same quality of clothes but it is cheaper, the mall is for rich women who could pay fees doubled or tripled. Even discounts are usually 20 % means there is no big difference rarely it could reach 30 % or 40 % that could be one article or two in the mall that is quite expensive.

I find eatables as the most sold items in my city.
