The National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives NANNM has suspended its nationwide warning strike.

NANNM’s Assistant Secretary-General, Chidi Aligwe, confirmed on Saturday that the one-week warning strike, intended to end next Tuesday, has been called off.

According to him, the decision was made during a virtual meeting of NANNM’s National Executive Council
