It has been advised by PAGASA, the country's weather bureau in the Philippines, that people residing in flood-prone areas should brace themselves for a wet La Niña season, which typically occurs between June and August. The rainfall is expected to be above average, so it is essential to be prepared. A resident of the Dinagat Islands expressed concern that the impact of La Niña may negatively affect food security, causing the prices of food to increase.

Above average, which means anything could happen. If some of them have to relocate or reinforce their fences, it would be best to start doing so now.
