The police in Kano state Nigeria have arrested a 25-year-old man identified as Mansur Umar for allegedly k!lling his sister’s boyfriend during a visit in Kunya Village, Minjibir local government area of the State.

According to a press release issued by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, the incident occurred on the evening of Friday, May 9, 2025, around 9:30pm. The victim, identified as Sulaiman Musa, also 25-year-old and a resident of Goda Village in the same LGA, had reportedly gone to visit his girlfriend, Fiddausi Umar, at her residence.

The statement mentioned that it was during the visit that Fiddausi’s brother, Mansur Umar, allegedly struck Sulaiman on the head with a stick, inflicting a serious injury on the victim. He was initially rushed to Kunya Cottage Hospital and later referred to Murtala Muhammad Specialist Hospital in Kano. Despite medical efforts, he was pronounced dead at 12:50am on Saturday.

The police said the suspect has been taken into custody and that the case is currently being handled by the Homicide Section of the Command’s Criminal Investigation Department.

The fact that he killed someone, that's a valid ground for conviction. The killer must pay the crime he committed. If the victim was seen doing an act like kissing her sister, the killer failed to analyse that kissing with a girlfriend is a normal thing and it's not a rape act.

It is well, so what was his reasons for carrying out such actions? Some people don't think about the future when they take some kind of action.
They don't especially the already frustrated ones. if ts better to let them go with their pressures
