Toy sales are actually up currently due to parents actively trying to reduce their kids' screen time. Children aren't made to sit still. so they still need toys

Kids like toys. That's their nature however, they easily get bored with their toys. They want new daily, but if they're gifted with a gadget like a Netbook, there's no boredom for them. It's crucial, they might lost interest in studying and learning.
