The Yobe State Government has announced the closure of all primary and secondary schools

Ahead of the nationwide hardship protests slated for August 1, 2024 in Nigeria. The Yobe State Government has announced the closure of all primary and secondary schools in the state


The State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education disclosed this decision in a memo signed by the Director of Schools Management,

The planned nationwide protest is the reason for the early closure.

How could that happen? It is not the fault of the learners, it's the fault of the government for being insensitive and frigid.

Well, it could just be the way the state wants to protest . Protest do comes in different forms to pass the message across

Honestly, Nigeria government is toying with humans life. The level of hardship is unbearable and inflation is increasing unabated. It seems that the entire populace supported the protest. If the state education department of a state can take such decision, the protest will be massive

I think they returned back to school after a while. But obviously things have not still normalize even now
