"There is no room for a gentleman in business". Do you believe that?

When we are hearing business people talk, they keep re-choimg that the business world is very tough and that being a gentleman won't take one really far in business.

Are you also of the opinion that perfect gentlemen don't make it in business or are there businesses meant for gentlemen?

I absolutely believe in this. You cannot become successful by becoming a gentleman but once you are successful you can try becoming a gentleman

Business is very tough. And one has to be tough inside out to become successful in any business. Even with money bags, they need that toughness.

The kind of strain that business people have to face is not for people that are gentlemen. They might just commit suicide with just one major business failure.

Yes that's right, there is no room for gentleman in business but this does not mean you should run your business without morals,

Your customers are waiting to take advantage of you. Your competitors would not miss a chance to mess you up. Corrupt government officials are there looking for an avenue to exploit you. And your suppliers are ready to frustrate you. You can't be gentle with all of these as an entrepreneur.

People that are gentle hardly make it in business. That's why you first of all need to develop toughness before entering business.
