So a mom brought a teenage girl to my shop today. The girl is 14 and yet to complete high school. She says she doesn't wants to do school again. That she wants to pursue her passion in fashion designing. And the young girl is talented in fashion design. She was able to craft some complex designs that I gave her to cut, even better than my apprentices.

The mom is worried about her refusal to go to school any longer. The parents are willing to sponsor her and provide for her till she is done with college.

What advise would you chip in here?

Encourage that teenagers to finish high school in few years. After that, she can attend a fashion college to pursue her passion.

This is the best advise. High school is basic. He or she can pursue their passion after they are done with high school.

The mom must support her daughter. It doesn't mean that she's good in designing, she can't pursue her studies. She can have her talent part time. Education is also very important for her designing career.
