Thousands of government teachers rendered jobless by the Kolkata High Court terming their appointment as illegal.

About 2500 teachers of Kolkata government schools have been fired. The Kolkata High Court has declared their appointment as illegal. The court claims that the teachers have got their job my bribing the education minister and the Chief Minister of West Bengal. The future of these teachers are now uncertain.
