Time feeling later than it is

This past weekend in the UK, our clocks went backwards giving us an extra hour but now it tends to get dark even before 5 pm for us.

These past few days since the clocks went back, I have been feeling as though it has been later than it is and when I look at the time it is only around 6 pm.

Do you ever feel like it is later than it is as we get further in the year?

I have experienced this so many times over here. There are so days where it becomes extremely dark when the time is not even up to 5pm not to mention 6pm.

I have experienced this so many times over here. There are so days where it becomes extremely dark when the time is not even up to 5pm not to mention 6pm.

It can be so confusing and can make the nights feel like they are so long. I don't mind it on the run-up to Christmas as you have the Christmas lights and such to brighten up the place but after Christmas when we still have the early dark nights, it can make it seem miserable.

It does happen here in Nigeria too. We sometimes have darker days when the time isn't even late.
