According to the report, a 15-month-old girl is recovering in a hospital after being bitten twice by a rattlesnake. Jacquelyn Reed and her daughter, Cara, whom she described as "the angel of the family," were walking outside their Florence, Arizona, home when it happened. She said that she saw a piece of trash, and she picked it up. She learned it was a snake, and it bit her toddler's foot. The snake entered through the window where the baby was lying. The mom was rattled when she heard her baby crying, and when she checked the foot, she saw a snake bite.

The culprit was a diamondback rattlesnake, which Jacquelyn discovered hiding behind her daughter. Despite her fear, she acted quickly, rushing Cara to the nearest emergency room and calling ahead to ensure anti-venom was ready.

Baby's foot rapidly swelled, and within 20 minutes, she took to get to the ER. Baby Cara received 30 vials of antivenom. As Cara continues her recovery, her family remains hopeful.
