Tourists in Barcelona Sprayed with Water Amid Protests

According to the report, the tourists enjoying a meal in one of the world’s most popular cities were attacked by locals as over-tourism reaches boiling point across the globe.

The report added that thousands of Barcelona residents sprayed diners in tourist areas with water during a protest against mass tourism.

But is turning away tourists the solution for countries?
